What an exciting week for workers’ rights!
First off, in New Hampshire, a bipartisan group of legislators rejected the attempts of anti-worker lawmakers to achieve the two-thirds majority required to overturn Gov. John Lynch’s veto of “right to work.” As we’ve said time and time again, “right-to-work” is a thinly-veiled attempt at limiting the rights of workers, offering no rights and no work.
If that wasn’t enough, we saw the power of collective bargaining on display across the country in Washington state, where Boeing and its Machinist-represented workers announced a tentative contract agreement. If ratified, the company has agreed to manufacture its 737 MAX passenger jet in Washington State. That means nearly 20,000 jobs and more than $5.5 billion in related economic activity for the surrounding area. In addition, the two sides will settle their high-profile National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) case – a routine legal process that was hijacked by extremist politicians and pundits for political purposes.
Finally, this week the National Labor Relations Board voted 2-to-1 to approve a resolution that would reduce delays and unnecessary litigation when workers vote in union elections. Unsurprisingly, several hours later, corporate-backed politicians in the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that would mandate a delay. Thankfully, this “Election Prevention Act” will likely fail in the Senate.
When you add it all up, it was a victorious week for workers, and a step in the right direction for getting the country back to work.

Thanks , your work are greatly appreciated. I desire you a lot results.
