I have recently replaced the tires on my 2001 Dodge Ram and my 2005
Dodge Caravan. I was distressed at how the tire places kept pushing forign brands and Supposedly American brands, not made in the USA.

I finally was able to get Cooper tires by request at Town Fair Tires in Somersworth NH (truck) and National Tire and Battery At the Huntington (WV) mall (van). Not only were both of these dealers happy that I demanded American Made, the also made me a good deal.
IT PAYS TO ASK and to tell a dealer that you wont buy forign.

I bought a Cavalier many years ago. I told my credit union auto shopper which car/color/extras I wanted. And then I told him I wanted it to be assembled by UAW at Lordstown plant. He had to search inventory all over west coast. Two weeks later I got my car. That was Oct. 1996. I'm still driving that car. My husband got me a custom license plate frame that reads : UAW BUILT-ATU DRIVEN. ATU- Amalgamated Transit Union #265. I drive bus for VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) Santa Clara County Transit. Union YES!
