Product: Coats, work pants, socks Good news for working men and women in need of some new clothes! The rugged apparel brand Carharrt has just released a “Made in America Line” that includes, coats, work pants, and socks for both men and women. Nine hundred UFCW members make these stylish and sturdy clothes in two factories in the company’s Tennessee and Kentucky plants. See Carhartt’s Made in America line here.
Product: Candy and chocolates Founded in California, See’s Candies has been selling old-fashioned chocolate and sweets since 1921. While we personally recommend the box of assorted nuts and chews, See’s makes something delicious for every candy lover. Even more delicious? Each box of See’s is hand-packaged by BCTGM or UFCW members at the company’s two manufacturing plants. Try UFCW’s new smart phone app, designed to let you search for the union grocery store nearest you! Stop by a Kroger, Safeway, Acme, Shopper’s Food Warehouse, or other worker-friendly grocery store and pick up your favorite union-made snacks, beverages, or ingredients for dinner. UFCW members bag groceries, stock shelves, and help customers find the products they’re hungry for at various locations across the country. Annin Flag Company of Roseland, New Jersey, produces thousands of union-made American flags each year. Workers at Annin Flags are represented by UFCW.
