Product: Union-Officiated Football As Packers and NFL fans around the country know all too well, there is a union difference. You can now return to enjoying your Sunday football (or Monday… or Thursday) knowing that the officials on the field are trained in the nuances of the game. These “real refs” also serve as first responders, ensuring the safety of NFL players, who are union members too. They are members of the NFL Referees Association (NFLRA) and recently agreed to an eight-year contract that protects their jobs, salaries, and retirement benefits.
