Craig Becker began his work for the NLRB in April 2010, after a recess appointment made by President Obama to fill vacant board seats. Previously, he acted as Associate General Counsel to both the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and AFL-CIO. For 28 years, Becker also worked as a professor at the Georgetown University, University of Chicago and UCLA schools of law. He has published numerous articles on labor and employment law in scholarly journals, and has argued cases before the Supreme Court. Becker is a graduate of Yale University School of Law, where was an editor of Yale Law Journal.
